3 Internet - Essential knowledge worth Over £6000.
3 Internet and Mobile Internet are taking over – everyone is getting in to it but most of us don’t know the small print that could cost them £6000. I’ll quickly explain what 3 Internet is and then tell you the good stuff.
A dongle is a small stick that plugs in to the side of your laptop. The Dongle is a modem which allows your laptop to talk to the Internet.
Laptop Broadband is another name for essentially the same thing. The difference is that now the Networks (Vodafone, 3, O2, etc) are getting very competitive, they are all offering free laptops with their Mobile Internet packages. There are no cash-back vouchers to claim back and you get to keep the laptop for good – these are a great deal, but some are better than others.
Please be aware of the 3 points below!
1. Each Mobile Broadband package comes with a certain amount of data you can use each month. Go over this and get stung hard, especially if using it outside the EU. 3 charge £6 per MB so that’s £6000 for a GB of data – about a day or two’s casual surfing.
2. I went with 3 Internet as they were the cheapest and best value. However, don’t do what I did and get the 15GB for 15 deal.
Why? Because you can get 15 GB/m plus a free laptop for just 2.50 per month more! And with 3 laptop broadband it’s not a rubbish laptop, it’s a brand new 400 in PC World laptop. Anyway don’t get a normal mobile internet deal, get one with a free laptop. You might even save money by replacing your land line and home internet deal for mobile internet so you can save money and have the web with you wherever you go, plus a new, faster laptop.

So to sum up, if you’re thinking of getting mobile broadband then make sure you get a free laptop deal, and get it through 3 because they’ve won awards for the being the cheapest and best overall provider whilst also offering the best laptop deal.
Vodafone offer the fastest 7.2Mb/s speed mobile broadband, and all the other networks offer 3.6Mb/s but as these are theoretical speeds, I’m happy with my choice of 3 Internet .

Personally I think there will be a big drop in the value of the Pound soon so I’m getting my imported electronics while my Pounds still buy something decent. 3 Internet stock comes and goes pretty quickly.
Also I personally believe due to the UK debt and economic situation a significant devaluation of the pound is inevitable if not imminent, so I’m buying my imported electronics and laptops now while I can get the most value for my money.
