The first largest gun store is Wal-Mart, Stores, Inc. It is a chain of huge department stores. According to 2008 Fortune Global 500, it is the world’s largest public corporation by revenue with revenue of 378.80 billion dollars in 2007. Several years after, it finally sold its label to Sports Authority after experiencing revenue losses.
Fifth, is the Big 5 Sporting Goods, which is another sporting goods retailer with headquarters in El Segundo, California. It has 366 stores in 11 states and is led by Steve Miller as Chairman, CEO. In 2004, it reached total sales of 769.9 million dollars.
