Stock Index Trading Jargon You Will Want to Add To Your Vocabulary
Trying to become skilled at a new idiom is quite challenging. But when you desire to get ahead, you may need to take a while to become skilled at the spoken language right? If you are convinced only different countries have different languages then that may be where you happen to be wrong. Let us say for instance that you happen to be interested in stock index trading and you want to get into it. You cannot just flash your money and presume things to fall into place right away. That seriously isn’t how it happens and you probably have to do some reading and some research so that yuo get to find out a few of the terms that they use.
For example; to most people a Bear is a four legged hairy beast that lives in forests and likes to steal picnic baskets. If that is what a bear is in the common language, in terms of stock index trading it means an entirely different things. To the people in the stock index trading world, someone is a Bear if he is the kind of investor who keeps a negative view of the stock exchange and thinks that prices will forever be going down. These Bear investors employ a market that they like to call the Bear market and it is a plce where they trade on things with prices that are always falling.
to Provide a balance to the Bear’s negativity, they as well have what they like to call the Bull. The Bull, in direct contrast to the Bear has a very positive attitude towards the market and always believes that the prices will rise. It is simply fair that the Bulls have their own Bull market considering that the bulls employ a market if their very own . Pretty clever isn’t it? The Bull market believes the exact opposite thing as the Bear market and is a type of market where prices are always and consistently on the rise.
These are only the general characteristics of the markets although there may be some changes from time to time. Now you just have to decide which market appeals to you the most and which market you need to dabble in. There are some compensation and disadvantages to these two markets that you’ll want to conisder before you decide.
