The Domestic Usage of Generators

They are also the most expensive to purchase, as they require a licensed electrician to install the machine in addition to the initial purchase costs.
Any decision to purchase a generator should be well-informed and thought out. The most suitable generator varies according to the needs of the individual. For example, if it to function as an emergency back-up, diesel versions may not be the best choice due to their costly fuel requirements, as well as their tendency to gel under cold weather conditions (this prevents the engine starting).
