Fortune High Tech Marketing has created quite a stir in the network marketing industry. Founded in 2001, they have become an emerging player in the business-opportunity world.
But can you really make a fortune with Fortune? Let’s take a closer look at this company.
Fortune – Overview
Fortune High Tech was founded in 2001 by Paul Orberson. Located in Lexington, Kentucky, they started out specializing in the telecommunications field, and have extended their product line to include health and beauty, travel, and a number of other different products.
Orberson was previously associated with Excel communications, where he claims to have participated in the generation of over 38 million dollars. He retired out of Excel at age 39.
He then went on to found FHTM, which is currently debt free and owned completely by Paul. Not too shabby.
Fortune – The Other Side Of The Coin
There is a controversial fact that you will never hear at any networking meeting – and that is, a network marketing company (FHTM or any other company) is simply a vehicle for creating income. The realization of that potential depends on the individual distributor, and their skill-set.
The issues is that most people have zero experience in networking, and once they exhaust their warm market, they have nowhere else to turn. Many distributors find themselves stuck after going through their “friends and family”. Many who do not want to pitch their friends and family find themselves stuck even faster.
This is the elephant in the room that nobody in the networking industry likes to talk about. It also happens to be the lynch-pin of success. It doesn’t matter how much a company grows if a distributors own distribution channel doesn’t grow. Being a rep of a company is not the same thing as holding stock in it.
The solution is to simply learn how to market. When one learns how to market properly, it doesn’t matter what business they join – they can walk in confidently, and grow a business up from scratch.
Our recommendation is to learn that process…or don’t get involved in any business to begin with, as that is the determinant of success.
